Glint Privacy Policy

Eventide Labs LLC ("Eventide Labs," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Glint iOS app.
Glint is designed as a private, on-device media organization app. Glint helps you import, organize, protect, customize, and display your own photos and videos while keeping your media under your control.
Our Core Privacy Promise
Eventide Labs does not collect, upload, view, sell, share, rent, analyze, or store your photos, videos, galleries, folders, tags, widgets, Vibe Lab settings, or other Glint app content on Eventide Labs servers.
Glint does not use your photos or videos for advertising, profiling, analytics, or artificial intelligence model training.
Your media belongs to you.
Information Glint Stores Locally
Glint may store information locally on your device so the app can work properly. This may include:
- Imported photos and videos
- Galleries, folders, and subgalleries
- Tags and organization choices
- Favorites and pinned items
- Protected gallery settings
- Widget presets, borders, overlays, crops, and framing choices
- Vibe Lab custom Home settings
- Trash, cleanup, duplicate, and storage state
- App preferences and customization choices
This information is stored locally on your device for app functionality and personalization. Eventide Labs does not receive this information.
Apple Photos, Camera, Files, and Local Network Access
Glint may ask permission to access Apple system features, including:
- Apple Photos
- Camera
- Files
- Local Network
- Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode
These permissions are used only when you choose to import, capture, upload, protect, or manage media inside Glint.
Granting access to Apple Photos, Camera, Files, or Local Network does not mean Eventide Labs receives your media or personal files.
Wireless Upload
Glint includes a wireless upload feature that lets you send photos and videos from a nearby browser or device into Glint over your local Wi-Fi network.
Wireless upload transfers files directly to the Glint app on your device over your local network. Eventide Labs does not receive, host, view, or store files uploaded through wireless upload.
You should only use wireless upload on networks you trust.
Protected Galleries and Device Authentication
Glint may allow you to protect certain galleries or app areas using Apple's local authentication features, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Biometric authentication is handled by iOS. Eventide Labs does not receive, store, or access your Face ID, Touch ID, biometric data, or device passcode.
Subscriptions and Payments
Glint may offer a monthly subscription.
Purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple through the App Store.
Eventide Labs does not receive your credit card number, bank information, full payment details, or Apple ID password.
Apple may provide limited subscription status or entitlement information so Glint can unlock paid features. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Apple's collection and use of payment-related information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and terms.
Support Emails
If you contact Eventide Labs for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, or issue descriptions.
Please avoid sending sensitive photos, videos, or personal information unless necessary for support.
Support emails are used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve support, and maintain necessary business records.

Website Information
The Glint app does not use third-party advertising trackers.
The Eventide Labs website may receive limited technical information through standard hosting logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and basic diagnostic information. This information is used for site security, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance.
Eventide Labs does not use website logs to access your Glint app media or app content.
Data Sharing
Eventide Labs does not sell personal information.
Eventide Labs does not sell, share, rent, trade, upload, or disclose your Glint photos, videos, galleries, folders, tags, widgets, or private app content.
We may share limited information only when necessary to:
- Respond to support requests
- Operate, maintain, or secure our website or business
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect rights, safety, security, or prevent misuse
Data Retention
Media and app data stored in Glint remain on your device unless you delete them, remove them from Glint, or delete the app.
Eventide Labs does not retain copies of your Glint media because Eventide Labs does not receive your Glint media.
Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Website logs may be retained for security, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostic purposes.
Children's Privacy
Glint is not directed to children under 13. Eventide Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to Eventide Labs, they may contact us at support@eventide-labs.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
Your Choices
You control the media and app content stored in Glint.
You may delete photos, videos, galleries, folders, tags, widget presets, Vibe Lab settings, and other local app content from within Glint where supported. You may also delete the Glint app from your device.
You may manage Apple Photos, Camera, Files, Local Network, and biometric permissions through iOS Settings.
You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
Changes to This Policy
Eventide Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date.
